Using Webex Meetings in Google Chrome is a blazing fast way to setup meetings between multiple people
FIRST: visit http://argyleisd.webex.com NEXT: Use the sign-in button in the upper right corner of the screen. Use your @argyleisd.com account THEN: Copy the meeting link under your name.
You can paste the link in an email, a text message, a calendar event, Webex Teams, or anywhere else you can past a link!
Using Webex in Gmail is a convenient way to setup meetings and schedules directly from your email.
Scheduling a Webex meeting from your Gmail is incredibly easy.
Open an email
Click the Webex Meetings icon in the right-hand vertical menu bar
Create a scheduled meeting or start an instant meeting.
Once you've scheduled a meeting, it will automatically show up in Google Calendar!
Nothing! It's already activated on your account.
Navigate to Google Calendar or Gmail, then look on the right side of the page. You should see the Webex Meetings icon in a vertical menu bar.

Your vertical menu bar may be hidden. There is a toggle in the lower right corner of the screen.
To sign in, click on the Webex Meetings icon, and then "Get Started"
Once you've logged in, you can close the sidebar. Everything you'll need to do will be inside Google Calendar itself.
Creating a conference is an pretty simple four step process
Create a new Calendar event
Schedule your meeting time
Add guests
Then "Add Conferencing"
Once you send the invitation, your guests will have a link to your Webex Meeting.
Typos are often the reason for login errors. Please make sure that your student is typing their email address and password carefully.
Student usernames follow the pattern firstname.lastname@stu.argyleisd.com

Once you've downloaded it, open the installer drag the icon "Webex Teams" into the "Applications" folder.
The installed program can be found in the "Applications" folder in Finder.

The first thing is to verify that you are using the right account. Navigate in Chrome browser to and login using your argyleisd.com email address. Check the spelling of your name, and of @argyleisd.com.
If this is the first time you've tried to login to Webex Meetings (video chat), you will need to login once with Webex Team (text chat). Please download the Webex Teams app

Using Webex Teams from a Chromebook is easy. Simply navigate to and login using your @argyleisd.com email address.

You can also download the phone app from your handset's app store.
Background noise can be distracting to other participants.
Headphones are good. They will let you hear other speakers without your mic picking up the sound. Headsets (like apple earbuds) with a mic are even better!
Hover over a participant's picture, and you'll be able to mute them.
Publicly posting a meeting link means anyone with the link can join up!
